On Oct. 9, 2023, we are updating how you sign on to USGBC and GBCI websites:
- usgbc.org
- kxaiot.com
- leedonline.com
- arcskoru.com
- true.kxaiot.com
- sitesonline.usgbc.org
- peeronline.kxaiot.com
- cityclimateplanner.org
What does this mean for you? Current and new users wishing to sign in to all USGBC and GBCI websites will sign on through a single sign-on (SSO) page with the same account name and password.
In advance of Oct. 6, we encourage users to make note of their username and password, since the new SSO page may not recognize passwords saved previously through a browser for the USGBC and GBCI websites.
Please note:
- If you are not able to retrieve your password, you will need to reset it. Instructions on how to reset your password will be included on the new sign-on page.
- If you enter the incorrect password five times, you will be locked out of your account. To avoid being locked out, it is advised that you reset your password if you have initiated multiple failed attempts. In the event that you are locked out, you will need to contact us to unlock your account.
Why single sign-on (SSO)? SSO increases account and password-related security and improves user experience. Additionally, having a single solution across all of our applications lays the groundwork for improvements in the future.
What about multi-factor authentication (MFA)? We are working to implement MFA with a release date targeted for the first quarter of 2024. This capability will further increase the security of your account and passwords.
Thank you for your continued support as we work to improve our website security and user experience.
